Monterey Private Security Training
Monterey Private Security, works in partnership with an innovative security
training facility in Fresno, California known as The Police Science Institute,
which provides specialized training for law enforcement, military and private
sector security professionals.
The Police Science Institute (PSI) is accredited by the State of California
Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education.
PSI was founded in 1994 as an independent vocational school of security
and law enforcement.
The founders premise was that the law enforcement vocational needs of
society required a training program blending professionalism and science in
new and creative ways.
The school has since added various courses to enhance training for a
broad array of careers to include Investigation, Transportation,
Technology, Security, and Legal Office.
From its inception, Monterey Private Security has worked hand in hand with
PSI and have combined a solid foundation in theoretical and research
course work with an emphasis on developing professional skills.
Monterey Private Security employees and PSI have built these skills
through field experiences, which are an integral part of the on going
training that our personnel receive.
